Step inside a truly Beautiful World at Chony's Art Room's Annual Student Art Exhibition.
Featuring artwork created by students of all ages and abilities, this inspiring exhibition showcases a diverse collection of pieces exploring the theme "It's a Beautiful World." Students from classes and workshops across the Sunshine Coast have come together to share their creativity, imagination, and unique perspectives.

IN Touch
David Thorogood – Painter
IN Touch is an exhibition of expressive paintings inspired by the human body, exploring movement, mythology, flight, and mortality. Using unconventional materials including bitumen, plaster, hessian, wrapping paper, and clothing, Thorogood creates richly textured works that push the boundaries of traditional painting.
COOLOOLA STORIES
Cooloola Stories is an immersive exhibition that explores the layered narratives of the Cooloola region—where land, water, culture, and memory intersect. Opening event Thursday, June 11th - 5 pm
Picture Culture: Here & Now
Picture Culture: Here & Now is a photographic celebration of the Sunshine Coast – alive with stories, traditions, and identities that stretch beyond the expected. Part of Horizon Festival 2026, the exhibition is an invitation to see the region through the lens of its people: layered, expressive, and unapologetically diverse.
