The Old Ambulance Station (affectionately known as The Old Ambo) is the Sunshine Coast’s only independent multi-arts centre. We’re a home for artists, musicians, performers and creatives — a place where ideas are tested, new work comes to life and Nambour’s authentic, gritty and quirky creative spirit thrives.
On Thursday 22 October, we’re taking part in AusArt Day, a nationwide fundraising initiative bringing artists and arts organisations together to raise funds for their work and creative ambitions.
Why We Need Your Support
The Old Ambo plays an important role in our creative community. We provide opportunities for local artists to exhibit, perform, experiment and connect with audiences.
But keeping a space like ours running takes work, and our facilities need some attention.
We’re raising funds to upgrade our facilities and improve the spaces used by the artists, musicians and creatives who bring The Old Ambo to life.
Every contribution, big or small, helps us maintain a space to support
local artists, musicians and creatives on the Sunshine Coast.
Whether you’ve exhibited in our gallery, seen a show in the Black Box, attended a workshop or simply believe in the importance of the arts, we’d love your support.
Your donation helps us care for this much-loved space and continue providing opportunities for the Sunshine Coast’s creative community.
Give The Old Ambo a little love this AusArt Day.
All donations are tax deductible.
