RESIST is an exhibition by the Bloom Collective, a group of multi-disciplinary artists aged 14-25 years from the Sunshine Coast region. It features a broad variety of works that respond to the theme of Resistance and what it means to them. The exhibition showcases visual art, photography, poetry, writing, pottery, film, live music and pop-up shops from local creators. 

The Bloom Collective is passionate about activism through art. It represents a wide range of topics and issues that are relevant to young people and endeavours to create safe spaces and places for young people to practice, connect and grow their art forms. 

The official launch of the RESIST exhibition is from 5.00pm, Friday 24 January poignantly just before Invasion or Australia Day on 26 January. Musicians performing during the evening include; Big Whoops, Chakra Efendi, Old Home, Zebra Finch
Jakob Lydford and Brock Ravest.

Official Opening: 5.00pm till late, Friday 24 January; $5 entry and cash bar
