A Star Weave Community is a group of people in a town, suburb or organisation who each commit to weave 10,000 stars . The 1 million stars will be installed in a spectacular display at the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in 2018  (GC2018).

Currently on display at Noosa Civic a weaving workshop will be conducted in the Centre. The local community is invited to take part in this free, family-friendly workshop which will be held on Friday 7 October from 10am.

The 10,000 star installation are now on display at Noosa Civic for 3 weeks.

The Old Ambulance Station is proud to have hosted star weavers for many months as they worked towards this project.
