Theatrelab: 2019 commences with a Masterclass for performance artists in taking Voice and Text into Performance with two nationally acclaimed theatre actor/teacher/directors, Dianne Eden OAM and Jennifer Flowers.

About Dianne Eden OAM

As head of Voice and Acting at QUT for 23 years Dianne Eden OAM has nurtured two generations of actors.  She was recognised for her extraordinary commitment, with an Alan Edwards Lifetime Achievement Award. Dianne is Australia‚Äôs first Designated Linklater voice teacher and is a member of the guest Faculty at Shakespeare & Company, Massachusetts. She completed post graduate voice and text studies with Fran Bennett (California Institute of Arts); Patsy Rodenburg (at Guild Hall, London); and Cicely Berry. 

About Jennifer Flowers

Dianne will be working beside Jennifer Flowers, an actor/director and teacher who has worked extensively for all major theatre companies in Australia. She is the recipient of a Churchill Fellowship and has been awarded a Lifetime Achievement Matilda Award for her contribution to Queensland Theatre as well as numerous Matilda Awards. She has served on several Theatre Company Boards and contributed to peer assessment panels for Arts Queensland.
